Some of you may have noticed that the Mad One has been a man of few words over the last few weeks. (Others have undoubtedly heaved a heavy sigh of relief!)
That is because preparations for and travel during both end-of-year holidays kept him quite busy.
Got a crazy good deal on those plane tickets, but they definitely weren’t first class!
Now, however, I’m back in the saddle, again.
That’s the metaphor I used, and I’m stickin’ with it.
Regardless of whether you noted Mad Gringo’s absence from the MG Blog, you may be wondering what tropical paradise I visited during the month of December? Which beach did I comb? Where, oh where, did I recline in hammock, gently swaying in time with a cool, tropical breeze.
Wall to wall humanity!
I know, it’s heartbreaking.
Unfortunately, even the Mad Gringo lives in a world where he must make the occasional compromise. Where he has to give in to the wishes of the masses or, in this case, the young ’uns. Where he must (temporarily) put aside his own fondest desires, and labor for the benefit of others.
