Some of you may be aware that the Mad Gringo is storyteller of some renown. Yes, Mad Tom has published ten books, some of which are actually entertaining, but he can lay no claim to the telling of the actual legend of Mad Gringo.
That honor belongs solely to one Greg Chambers, the original Mad Gringo.
NOT Mad Greg. Allegedly.
If you’ve taken a strole through our virtual web-based store, you might have noticed that we have one and only one book for sale – it’s title, “The Legend of Mad Gringo (a novel).”
I know, it sounds captivating, right? Now I’m not saying that this is real history or anything, but I will say that there is more than a taste of truth in what Greg describes as “a novel.” Except for the Ninja assassins, they’re totally made up.
Now, Greg has announced that “The Legend of Mad Gringo” can be had in Audiobook form. For those of you with a busy schedule and a way to play an audiobook – like in your car, duh! – this should be big news. Now you can be amused by Greg’s rapier wit (only slightly less hilarious than my own) on your way to work, all while gathering in tidbits of Gringo lore.
I call that a win-win.
You can grab your copy of the audiobook right here.
And if you’d like to read it the old fashioned way, check out this page. Yep, toss the book in with a couple of our clever tees, and you’ll be in Gringo heaven.
“You’re only half a Gringo until you learn Gringo history.”
