Finally returned from vacation today, and as people sometimes say – there’s good news and bad news.
The good news is the Gringo crew did a fine job reading orders, rounding up Gringo gear, and getting shipments out in time to reach fans and friends in time to beat the approaching Father’s Day deadline.
The bad news is there was an untold amount of wear and tear to the Tiki Bar, not to mention a rather extensive assemblage of empty or partially empty beverage containers in and around the brewhouse. I offer the following photographic evidence of the carnage, assembled after an hour of uninterrupted collecting.
I’m not sure exactly what was going on here… well, actually I am fairly sure. My guess is Mad Evan jimmied the lock on the brewhouse and raided the liquor stocks. He and his posse consumed their ill-gotten booty right there, just outside the brewhouse, as well as wile seated at the Tiki Bar.
I suspect there may even have been lampshades involved.
Today, I’m left wondering about what is left of my beer inventory – if it hasn’t been drained or contaminated, could it possibly taste good?
Beer sampling underway – this one, an obvious "fail".
Well, I suppose I ought to find trash bags and a push broom and take care of the ugly task of cleaning it all up.
Or maybe I’ll find a comfortable place to hang my new hammock, instead.
