The Mad Gringo has a weakness for sweets.
Especially those little Brach's caramels int he celophane wrappers.
It must come from my childhood where if i were a good lad at
the Safeway, Mama Gringo would buy me a caramel for a reward.
(It didn't take much to please me then, still doesn't)
That's what this shirt reminds me of.
The backgound has that same orange/brown feel to it that the candy
does. Yet, it doesn't quite make my mouth water or keep me quiet
for an hour at a time. It has a repeating pattern that reminds me of
the family cat when it gets into the catnip. It's here and there in a
hurry.
This one should age nicely. We added it to the stable this year so
the jury is still out, but it is 100% Rayon and those patterns hold
well.
Coconut buttons. Easy care. Wash when dirty, dry when wet. Looks
great with jeans and flip flops. Maybe even some Maui Jim sunglasses
from Peepers.
Check it out for yourself.
Go slow.
