Mad Gringo Apparel is a licensee of the TRUSTe Privacy Program. TRUSTe is an independent, non-profit organization whose mission is to build user’s trust and confidence in the Internet by promoting the use of fair information practices. This privacy statement covers the Web site www.madgringo.com. Because this Web site wants to demonstrate its commitment to your privacy, it has agreed to disclose its information practices and have its privacy practices reviewed for compliance by TRUSTe.

What information do we collect?
- We collect information from you when you register on the site, place an order, share a review of a product, email a friend, or apply to be an affiliate.
- When ordering or registering, we may ask you for your name, e-mail address, mailing address, phone number, credit card information or other information. You may, however, visit our site anonymously.
- When purchasing products on our site you may choose to use PayPal or Google Checkout. When you do so, please know that you will be entering your billing information on their sites directly and their privacy policies govern the use and collection of your information. We encourage you to read their privacy policies.
- We also collect information from you when you share a review with the site. We ask for your name, email address and your comments. See REVIEWS section below for more information.
- We also collect information about gift recipients so that we can fulfill the gift purchase. The information we collect includes name, address, and phone number. We use this information for the one time purpose of sending the gift and do not use their information for our own marketing purposes.
- To join our affiliate program we will ask you for your name, business name and url, Tax ID or SSN # and email address.
- Like many websites, we use "cookies" to enhance your experience and gather information about visitors and visits to our websites. Please refer to the "Do we use 'cookies'?" section below for information about cookies and how we use them.
How do we use your information?
We use the information we collect from you when you register, purchase products,, respond to a marketing or order confirmation email, surf the website, or use certain other site features in the following ways:
- To personalize your site experience and to allow us to deliver the type of content and product offerings in which you are most interested and have expressed interest in receiving.
- To allow us to better service you in responding to your customer service requests.
- To quickly process your transactions.
- When you complete the registration form to purchase products from our site, you have the option to opt-out of receiving our e-mail newsletter. If you do not opt-out, we will send you periodic e-mails. In addition, you may subscribe without purchasing anything to our email list in the boxes provided in our side bar on the home page and other areas of the site. If you have not opted to receive e-mail newsletters, you will not receive these e-mails. How We Share Information
Service Providers
We use other third parties to provide credit card processing services and shipping services. When you purchase a product, we will share your credit card information and shipping information with these service providers in order to provide you with the products and services that you have requested.
These third parties are prohibited from using your personally identifiable information for any other purpose including their own marketing.
Other Third Parties
When you purchase a product from us you have the option to use PayPal or Google Checkout to process your transaction. You will be taken to their website to complete the payment process. Their privacy policy governs the use and collection of your data submitted on these sites. We encourage you to view the privacy policy of all sites that you choose to visit.
Email-A-Friend
If you choose to use our referral service to tell a friend about our a product on our site, we will ask you for your friend’s name and email address. An email will be sent from your email address to your friend’s email address. We do not store this information and the information collected is to send your friend this one-time email.
Communications from the Site
You will receive order confirmation emails. In addition, we will send you strictly service-related announcements on rare occasions when it is necessary to do so. For instance, if our service is temporarily suspended for maintenance, we might send you an email. You may not opt-out of receiving any of these types of service related emails.
We will occasionally send you information on products, services, special deals, promotions that you have chosen to receive. You can sign up for these emails at various areas of the site.
Out of respect for your privacy, we present the option not to receive these types of communications. Please see the “How You Can Opt-out” below.
If you sign up to be an affiliate on our site, we will contact you via email after you have registered to confirm your status.
How do we protect visitor information?

How can you opt-out, remove or modify information you have provided to us?
To modify your e-mail subscriptions, please let us know by modifying your preferences in the "My Account" section. Please note that due to email production schedules you may receive any emails already in production.
To delete all of your online account information from our database, sign into the "My Account" section of our site and remove your shipping addresses, billing addresses & payment information. Please note that we may maintain information about an individual sales transaction in order to service that transaction and for record keeping.
Third party links
In an attempt to provide you with increased value, we may include third party links on our site. These linked sites have separate and independent privacy policies. We therefore have no responsibility or liability for the content and activities of these linked sites. Nonetheless, we seek to protect the integrity of our site and welcome any feedback about these linked sites (including if a specific link does not work).
Product Reviews
If you use our product review function, you should be aware that any personally identifiable information you submit there can be read, collected, or used by other users of these forums, and could be used to send you unsolicited messages. We are not responsible for the personally identifiable information you choose to submit in these forums. We do monitor this area of the site and will remove any review that is inappropriate for posting.
