Rayon Hawaiian Shirts, Why Rayon, Hawaiian Clothing
Mad Gringo uses 100% first grade rayon in our tropical shirts. Why?
As Bluto says in Animal House: (belches) "Why not?"
Really. Mad Gringo prefers First Grade Rayon for his shirts and sarongs because it's been around for a long time, takes dyes well, drapes nicely, and it's easy to care for.
Plus - when you put one on it's as light as a feather and let's the breeze flow through.
Wash when dirty, dry when wet.
Rayon isn't quite man made and isn't a natural fabric either. It's made from trees, so it's natural - but it takes a lot of chemicals to break it down, so it's not as natural as cotton. It's kind of like the new Bamboo fabrics - made from a renewable resource, but it takes effort to make something rigid feel like silk.
- If you have worn a Rayon garment and had trouble caring for it, try one of my shirts.
- If you have a Rayon garment that fell apart, try one of my shirts. Poor construction ruins any fabric.
- If you have never tried Rayon, heard horror stories and are afraid of what your friends will say, try one of my shirts.
- If you don't have any idea what Mad Gringo is talking about, try one of my Daiquiris.
And if you are determined to only have Cotton shirts, try this Hawaiian Shirt: Wave Runner. It's classic.
Mad Gringo guarantees your purchase 100%.
We love the silky softness, the vibrant colors, the fringe on the sarongs, the easy care and the coconut buttons. Mad Gringo thinks you will too. Take a shirt or sarong out for a spin. You'll thank me.
